Never the same expression... the kid doesn't mind if I line him up in my view finder but he never gives me the same look. Not sure if this is a decision he is making or if he is just a natural. 8-)
I will admit that he is at the age where actually asking for a smile is not always a good thing to do as they are almost always cheesy and virtually never look good when captured.
Note quite sure what this look is trying to say but it is most certainly one strange look.
